AMY STARGHER

Amy Stargher is a Brazilian singer / musician and currently a member of the alternative rock band Trapped In Static. She was born in Rio de Janeiro, also known as Samba City, due to it’s popularity as a destination for Samba music. Despite that, Amy was raised in a household listening to rock, and begun her music venture at the age of 16. Always being the only girl in a rock band, she uses the stage to show that women can play rock, “like a woman” and not “like a man”, as most people tend to think! Her voice, with influences from Joan Jett, Pink, Halestorm & Classic Rock, is characterized as a very powerful and raspy tone with strong presence, bringing an energetic and at the same time, a warm atmosphere to all listeners.
